How many of you are convinced that you are hitting it offline because of the club face not being square at impact? Maybe you’re hooking it or maybe you’re slicing it.


I want to give you a little golf swing lesson that I think will help you a lot.


Grip the golf club like you normally would, and put it on the ground. Now raise it up in the air and make half a golf swing, or really, all the way back, and then stop.


Now, look at that club face. That club face should be perfectly square.

Golf in Orlando: Timacuan Golf and Country Club

On our last full day in Florida we had a chance to play another beautiful golf course, this one located about half an hour north of downtown Orlando in the community of Lake Mary. Timacuan Golf and Country Club was built in 1987 and was originally designed by a Ron Garl. In 1996 the course was renovated by architect Bobby Weed and today it is ranked in the top 14 in the state of Florida. Timacuan’s other accolades include having been chosen as one of the most golf-friendly courses for women by Golf for Women Magazine.

Golf Costa Del Sol, Spain (Santana Golf Course Tips)

Santana Golf Course is set in an old avocado farm situated between La Cala and Fuengirola in a picturesque parkland, very peaceful setting. Although a relatively new course it has the feel of a mature course, with wide well defined fairways on a level terrain making this a course that can be walked.


The course is a par 72 and can be demanding on a technical level where each unique hole offers its own challenges for all level of golfer. It is an enjoyable course to play where greens are protected but not surrounded by bunkers or water.

Golf Costa del Sol, Spain (Parador Golf Course Tips)

The Parador golf course in the heart of the Costa del Sol has a privileged location by the sea and next to Malaga International airport and city.
The Parador golf course is also known as The Royal Malaga Golf Course and has ties back to the Royal Family in Britain in it s beginning in 1925.


The designer of Wentworth East coast Harry Sephard Colt supervised the first nine holes and later the renowned British architect Tom Simpson (whose famous courses are Turnberry, Muirfield and Ballybunion) expanded the course to 18 holes.
